4 Mi to Aquarium & Arenas: Modern Atlanta Home

This is a three star house on Byron Drive in Adair Park, with free wifi and free car parking listed. It suits you if you have a car and want the trail at the door, and it is wrong if you need a front desk, a lift or a restaurant downstairs.

What you get

The 4 Mi to Aquarium & Arenas: Modern Atlanta Home lists free wifi and free car parking, and nothing else. There is no restaurant, no bar, no gym, no pool and no breakfast on the list. For a three star property that is a thin set of facilities, and you should treat the list as the whole of what the house offers rather than a summary of it. Free parking is the item that matters most here, because it changes how you use the address, and free wifi covers the basics of a working stay. Everything beyond those two is outside what the property states.

What that adds up to is a self contained house rather than a serviced hotel. The 4 Mi to Aquarium & Arenas: Modern Atlanta Home gives you a bed, a connection and somewhere to leave a car, and leaves the rest of the day to you. It suits drivers who want Adair Park as a base, and anyone here for the trail, which runs at the door, or for the West End, Red/Gold rail stop. It does not suit you if you want staff on hand, a meal in the building or a central address, because none of that is listed.

Where it puts you

Adair Park is on the Southwest side, and the train is what makes it work. West End, Red/Gold puts you on a line that runs into the centre and out the other side, so a car is not the point here. The trail is at the door. That is the BeltLine at mile 8.4, on the stretch that reaches the Lee + White breweries and the new Southside Trail along the back of it.

The trade is simple. You get the best value walk to a train and a beer, and you get a quiet residential grid rather than a tourist district. Suits anyone who wants to leave the car parked, walk to a platform and walk to a brewery. Does not suit a holiday built on museums, downtown restaurants and a short stroll to everything, because that is not this side of town.

Where is the house in Atlanta? +

It is on Byron Drive Sw in the Adair Park area of Atlanta, at 1.6 km from the centre of Adair Park. Adair Park sits on the south west side of the city, and the address puts you in a residential street rather than a hotel district.

What does the property actually provide? +

The listed facilities are free wifi and free car parking. There is no restaurant, bar or gym on the list, and no breakfast. Treat those two items as the full extent of what is stated for the house, and plan the rest of your stay around them.
