Treat that as the shape of the stay: you are based in greater Atlanta, not on the loop, and you should expect to travel for the things the loop is famous for. Decatur itself is its own small city six miles out, with a square, a rail station and the best restaurants-per-capita in Georgia, and the Blue/Green lines stop there, so it is reachable rather than next door.
For the BeltLine, look to the trail: these addresses sit off the loop, at the far end of the mile markings this site uses, and getting onto it means a deliberate trip rather than a stroll out of the lobby. Choose these hotels if you want the metro and its edges, not if you want to wake up inside the city the site is about.
