What you get
EnDeering Retreat lists the practical side of an apartment rather than hotel services. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, oven, refrigerator and coffee, and the laundry side has a washing machine and laundry service. There is air conditioning, a bathroom with a hairdryer, toiletries and towels, a desk, a TV with video, a fireplace and a patio. Pets are allowed and the whole place is non smoking with a smoke detector and first aid. Where the list is thin is service: no gym, no breakfast, no parking and no front desk.
What EnDeering Retreat really offers is a self contained base in West Midtown, and if you plan to cook and do your own washing that matters more than a lobby. The kitchen, laundry and patio turn a stay of several days into something closer to living there, and pets being allowed opens it up to people travelling with a dog. The clear drawback is transport: no rail, so you are on buses and bikes. EnDeering Retreat suits longer stays and self caterers. It does not suit anyone wanting hotel service or a quick rail link.

Where it puts you
West Midtown is on the Northwest side, and it is the busiest concentration of places to eat and shop for design in the city, because warehouses here turned into shops. It runs on bus and bike rather than rail, which shapes the trip: you can get around without a car, but you will feel it at rush hour. The BeltLine trail is close, a short way off, and that is the easier way to move through the district on foot or on two wheels.
This suits you if you want food and design within reach and do not mind planning around buses. It suits you less if you want a train at the door or a quiet street. If you are here to eat and browse, it works. If you want rail, look elsewhere.
Booking it
EnDeering Retreat is a self contained West Midtown apartment, so book it directly if you want the kitchen and laundry rather than hotel service. Most rooms here can be cancelled free, and you book them through app.impt.io. Every confirmed booking removes one tonne of CO2, at no extra cost to you. Five percent of what you pay comes back as IMPT credit, out of the hotel commission rather than added to your bill.
