Outside there is a garden and a patio, and a swimming pool. Free wifi, internet access, a TV and coffee are covered, as are free car parking, non smoking rooms, a smoke detector and first aid. Pets are allowed. The list is thin on the things a hotel usually supplies, so bring anything you would expect at a front desk.
What that adds up to is a self contained base in Poncey-Highland, where you cook, wash and park on site and use the trail at the door to get around; buses fill in where rail does not reach. Off the Grid suits a family, a group of friends or anyone travelling with a dog who wants space and a pool rather than a lobby. It does not suit a solo traveller after a served breakfast, daily housekeeping or a station within walking distance, because the property provides none of those and the neighbourhood has no rail of its own.

Where it puts you
You are in Poncey-Highland, on the east side of town, and the neighbourhood sits between the Clermont and Ponce City Market. The site's own line is that this is the most useful hundred yards in Atlanta if you plan to walk everywhere, and that is the honest summary: a stay here is built around leaving the car parked.
There is no rail, so getting around means the trail and the bus. The trail is at the door, which puts the BeltLine path within reach the moment you step outside, and the bus covers the rest. That combination suits anyone who wants to walk and ride and does not mind missing a train station. It suits a trip spent on foot between the two anchors either side of you, and it does not suit anyone who wants a rail connection or a quiet residential base away from the traffic.

Book Off the Grid directly if you want the whole house and a pool in Poncey-Highland, and check the calendar before you plan around it.
