There is car parking, a gymnasium, a tennis court and a golf course, along with wifi, lifts, a safe and a reception area. Bathrooms come with a hairdryer and some rooms have a sofa bed, a TV and smoking permitted. You also get a laundry service, currency exchange, multilingual staff, newspapers, shops and wheelchair access. The gaps are the point: no restaurant, no pool and no bar are listed, so do not expect to eat or swim on site.
What that adds up to is a base, not a resort. Quality Suites Buckhead Village gives you a place to park, a place to work out, a place to wash clothes and a bed, which is what a 2 star listing should do. The guest score is 3.7 out of 5 from 774 reviews, so expectations are middling rather than high. Book it if you are in Greater Atlanta for a short, cheap, car and trail oriented stay and you want the practical list without paying for extras you will not use. These hotels are not in Piedmont Park. They are not in any of the 24 neighbourhoods this site covers. They sit in the wider metro, and Piedmont Park is only the nearest of those neighbourhoods, which is a different thing from being in it. You are outside the loop, and you should expect to travel for the things the loop is famous for.
Piedmont Park itself is the most expensive mile on the loop. You are paying for two hundred acres of grass and the skyline behind it. If that is what you came for, you will be going to it rather than sleeping beside it, and the rail and trail labels tell you how the trip out is made: Midtown, 12 min, and the trail at the door.
