What you get
Scout Living powered by Placemakr Midtown is a four star property at 639 Glen Iris Dr Ne in Old Fourth Ward. The listed facilities lean residential rather than resort: kitchen, kitchenette, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, coffee, desk, air conditioning, TV and free wifi. You also get a bath, bathroom, shower, WC, hairdryer, toiletries and towels, plus cots, lifts and wheelchair access. The list is thinner on the things a short stay usually leans on: there is a restaurant and a bar, an outdoor pool, a fitness center and a terrace, but no spa, no business centre and no breakfast described, and parking, laundry service, dry cleaning, luggage storage, a safe, express check in and a 24 hour front desk round out the practical side.
For someone staying a week or more, Scout Living powered by Placemakr Midtown works because the room does the job a home does: you cook, you wash clothes, you unpack. The setting is Old Fourth Ward, and the trail sits at the door, so the neighbourhood is the amenity here rather than the building. There is no rail, and buses fill the gap. That makes Scout Living powered by Placemakr Midtown a good fit for people on a long visit, for pet owners, and for anyone who wants a kitchen and a washing machine more than daily housekeeping. It is a poor fit if you want a hotel that runs your day for you.

Where it puts you
Old Fourth Ward sits on the east side, and the site's own line on it is blunt: Ponce City Market, the skate park and the best stretch of the Eastside Trail. You pay for the address and you actually use it. That is the honest pitch here. There is no rail, trail plus bus is the setup, and the trail is at the door, so the BeltLine is the transport, not a weekend outing. The 2.1 figure is the BeltLine mile, given as the site records it.
This suits you if you want to step out and be among people, food and pavement without arranging a ride first. It does not suit you if you want a quiet base at the end of a day, or if your plans sit on the far side of town and you were counting on a train. Bring shoes you can walk in and a bus card.
Booking it
Book Scout Living powered by Placemakr Midtown directly if you want the apartment side of the building and the trail on the doorstep. Most rooms here can be cancelled free, and you book them through app.impt.io. Every confirmed booking removes one tonne of CO2, at no extra cost to you. Five percent of what you pay comes back as IMPT credit, out of the hotel commission rather than added to your bill.
