What you get
The Best Midtown Location by Piedmont Park is an apartment rather than a hotel room, and the facilities list reads like one. You get a kitchen with an oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and toaster, a washing machine, an iron and board, and a bathroom with a shower, WC, hairdryer and towels. There is air conditioning and a fan, free wifi and internet access, a desk, a TV and a sofa bed, plus a patio and a terrace. Parking is free, and the whole place is non smoking. What the list does not give you is much of a hotel: no restaurant, no bar, no gym, no reception desk mentioned anywhere among these facilities.
For the right person, that is the point. The Best Midtown Location by Piedmont Park gives you a base you can actually live in for several days: cook rather than eat out every meal, wash clothes rather than pack for a fortnight, park the car without paying for it, and walk out into Midtown from a street address. It suits someone staying a while, travelling as a pair or a small group, or wanting their own front door. It does not suit anyone who wants a lobby, a concierge, room service or a bed made for them each morning, because none of that is here. If you want a hotel, this is the wrong booking.

Where it puts you
Midtown is the default answer for staying in Atlanta, and usually the right one. Two rail stations put the whole city within reach without a car: the Midtown, Red/Gold stop is the one you will use most, though the neighbourhood is served by more than one. The park, the High, and the trail four blocks east are all part of the package. The trail label reads 0.4 mi to trail, and the BeltLine mile is 17.6, so you are on the east side of the loop rather than at its ends.
This suits you if you want to leave the car parked and walk to what you came for, and if you would rather be in the middle of things than in a quiet residential pocket. It does not suit you if you want a quiet street, free parking, or a base for the airport side of town. The trade is convenience for calm.

Book this one directly if you want the apartment to yourself and you already know you will not need a front desk. Most rooms here can be cancelled free, and you book them through app.impt.io.
