What you get
Urban Lake House lists free parking, which matters more than usual out here, plus a garage if you want the car under cover. You get free wifi, a gymnasium, a cafe, breakfast, a bar and snack bar, a laundry service and a playground for children. There is a smoking area, water on site and wheelchair access. That is a solid working list, but it is thin on the things that turn a hotel into a destination: no restaurant beyond the bar and cafe, no pool, and nothing that suggests a concierge or a shuttle.
What that adds up to is a practical base rather than a resort. Urban Lake House gives you the machinery of a stay, a bed, a shower, a place to park and a place to eat breakfast, in a corner of Greater Atlanta that is quiet and green rather than central. It suits drivers, families who want the playground, and anyone in town for work with a car and no interest in sightseeing on foot. It does not suit you if you want to step out of the lobby into bars and museums, because you cannot.

These hotels are not in Westview. They sit outside the 24 neighbourhoods this site covers, out in the wider metro, and Westview is only the nearest of them to you. That matters when you plan: the loop's restaurants, bars and trails are a trip away, not a stroll, so think about how you will get around before you book.
Westview itself is bungalows, a couple of very good restaurants and the Westside Trail. Residential to the point of sleepy. The site puts one rail label near it, West End, 15 min, and marks the trail at the door. If you want to be inside the neighbourhoods this site covers, look elsewhere. If you want a base outside them, with the city reachable by rail, this end of the metro works.

Booking it
Book Urban Lake House directly if you already know you will have a car, because the free parking is the thing you are paying for. Most rooms here can be cancelled free, and you book them through app.impt.io. Every confirmed booking removes one tonne of CO2, at no extra cost to you.
