What you get
Welcome to your Atlanta retreat Nice and cozy is a three star property on Akron Street in College Park, 3.4 km from the centre of College Park. The listed facilities cover the practical side well: a kitchen, a washing machine, a fireplace, a patio, a picnic area and a bathroom, plus air conditioning, free wifi, a TV and coffee. There is free car parking and 24H security, with a safe, smoke detectors and first aid listed. Rooms are non smoking, family rooms are available, pets are allowed and there is a smoking area. Breakfast is listed. The thin parts of the list are the extras: bars nearby are named without detail, and there is no gym or pool.
What that adds up to for Welcome to your Atlanta retreat Nice and cozy is a self contained base rather than a full service hotel. You get a kitchen, laundry, parking and security, which suits longer stays, families and anyone arriving on the Airport, Red/Gold line who wants a quiet bed and their own food. It is off the loop, so you need a car or a lift for most trips. It does not suit you if you want a pool, a gym, or to walk out to restaurants and nightlife. Book it for the airport, the kitchen and the parking, not for the address.

Where it puts you
These hotels sit in College Park, on the airport side of town, and the rail connection is the reason to be here. Airport, Red/Gold is the line you want: it puts you on the same system that runs through the centre, so you can reach Five Points without a car, and the site's own verdict on the area is blunt enough to quote: the cheapest bed in metro Atlanta and sixteen minutes by train to Five Points. Right for an early flight, wrong for a holiday.
The BeltLine side is different. College Park is off the loop, which means the trail is not on your doorstep and this is not a neighbourhood you pick for walking the city. What is walkable here is ordinary: you stay close to the station, you eat nearby, you sleep. Book it if you have a plane to catch or you want the lowest bed cost in the metro. Do not book it if you came to Atlanta for the BeltLine.
Booking it
Book directly for Welcome to your Atlanta retreat Nice and cozy if you want the kitchen and the parking held for you. Most rooms here can be cancelled free, and you book them through app.impt.io. Every confirmed booking removes one tonne of CO2, at no extra cost to you. Five percent of what you pay comes back as IMPT credit, out of the hotel commission rather than added to your bill.
Facts on this page come from the booking supplier's record: star class, address, photographs and facility list. Guest scores come from verified stays. We have not stayed here; the neighbourhood copy is our own.
