What you get
Westside Charm lists a full set of rooms and living space: air conditioning, a balcony, a bath and a bathroom, a kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, microwave and refrigerator, a washing machine, an iron and board, a hairdryer, toiletries, a fireplace, a TV with video, coffee, free wifi and internet access, plus smoke detectors and first aid. Non smoking rooms. The thin part is service: nothing here suggests a front desk, breakfast, a gym or parking, and there is no lift or shuttle listed for a four star property.
What that adds up to at Westside Charm is a self contained stay rather than a hotel stay. You cook, you wash, you sit on the balcony, and the four star label rests on the fittings inside the unit instead of on anything the property does for you. It suits a couple or a small group taking West End at their own pace, and anyone who wants a base for several days near the trail at the door. It does not suit a short overnight where you want bags carried and a bar downstairs.

You are staying in West End, on the west side of Atlanta, where the neighbourhood has its own rail station. West End, Red and Gold, puts the rest of the city within reach without a car, and the trail is at the door, so you can step out and walk or ride from where you sleep. The site calls this the cheapest base with its own rail station and trail access.
What sits right here is the historic AUC campuses, next door to the hotels. Groceries need a short trip, so plan for that rather than assuming a full kitchen run on foot. This suits you if you want a cheap bed with rail and trail on the doorstep and do not mind travelling for food. It suits you less if you want shops, bars and restaurants within a few steps of the front desk.

Book Westside Charm directly if you want the whole unit and a kitchen rather than a hotel floor, and check availability against your dates before anything else.
