You cook, you wash clothes, you sit on the balcony, and you come and go through a staffed lobby at any hour. It suits a small group, a family with a high chair, or anyone in town for more than a couple of days. It is wrong for a one-night airport stop where all you want is a room and a taxi. The Downtown address, 0.9 km from the centre of Downtown, puts you near Five Points, all lines.

Where it puts you
You are staying Downtown, inside the loop, where the train at Five Points puts every line in the city within reach. That is the point of the location: you can move around Atlanta without a car, and the rest of the trip is built on that. The site's own line on the neighbourhood is blunt about the trade: the cheapest walk to a train in the city, with convention traffic setting the price, so a Tuesday in January is a different hotel than a Tuesday in October.
The BeltLine trail is also here, and the 0.8 mi to trail is the figure to keep in mind if you plan to walk or run it. This suits anyone whose trip runs on transit and convention schedules. It does not suit a holiday built around quiet streets and long, slow mornings.
