What you get

Free parking is the one that matters most here, because paid parking is the usual tax on a stay near Georgia Tech. The shuttle covers the gap between the hotel and the places you are likely to be going, and step free access runs through the building. Everything else you would normally check, from breakfast to a work desk, is simply not stated, so ask before you book rather than assume.
For the right traveller, Baltimore Place is a straightforward base. If you are visiting Georgia Tech, seeing a student, attending a game or a conference, or breaking a drive through Atlanta, the free parking and the shuttle remove the two chores that make a short stay annoying. If you want to walk out of the door into shops, bars and a full evening, this is not that hotel. The area is campus first, and the facilities list is short. Suits drivers, campus visitors and anyone who values a parked car over a lobby.

You are staying in Georgia Tech, on the north side of town, in a district built around a campus. The rail label is Tech Square, Red or Gold, which puts two train lines within reach and a straight run into downtown. Campus hotels here empty out in summer and drop their rates with it. Ten minutes on the train to downtown.
The BeltLine sits at mile 16.8 and the trail label reads 1.0 mi to trail, so the trail is close enough to reach on foot from this side of the neighbourhood. This suits anyone tied to the university, to a game or a conference, and anyone who wants the train rather than a car. It does not suit a holiday built on restaurants, nightlife or sightseeing, because the streets around here belong to the campus and go quiet when it does.

Book Baltimore Place directly if you want the free parking and the shuttle locked in before you arrive. Most rooms here can be cancelled free, and you book them through app.impt.io.
