What you get
Beltline Shrine lists a kitchen with an oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, a refrigerator and a toaster, plus a washing machine, an iron and board, air conditioning and free wifi. The bathroom comes with a bath, a hairdryer and towels. Outside the flat there is a swimming pool, a fitness center, a patio and free car parking. Pets are allowed and the whole place is non smoking. The list is thinner on the hotel side: no restaurant, no bar, no room service and no reception, so you handle your own meals, laundry and check in. The photos on file number seven.
What that adds up to is an apartment rather than a hotel. Beltline Shrine gives you a kitchen, a washing machine and a dishwasher, which is the point if you are feeding a family, working from the desk for a week or travelling with a dog. The Inman Park rail stop and the trail at the door mean you can leave the car parked. It suits longer stays, groups and anyone who wants a base in Inman Park. It is wrong for you if you want daily cleaning, a concierge or a bed for one night near the airport.

Where it puts you
Inman Park is on the east side of Atlanta, and the hotels in this group sit inside it rather than near it. The rail connection is Inman Park, Blue, which puts you on the line that runs through the centre of the city. The trail is at the door, so the BeltLine is something you step onto rather than travel to, and the 3.0 figure applies to this neighbourhood.
The site's own summary is Victorian porches, big trees, a MARTA station and the trail, and it calls this the most expensive comfortable choice on the east side. That is a fair description of who it suits: you want to walk out to the trail, ride the Blue line, and come back to a leafy street of old houses. It does not suit you if you are watching what you spend, or if you want the newest buildings and the densest restaurant rows.
