What you get
Downtown Studio Panoramic Views Walk friendly is a four star apartment building rather than a hotel in the usual sense. The listed facilities cover the practical end: a kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave, refrigerator and toaster, a washing machine, iron and board, air conditioning and a fan. You get a bath and shower, towels, sheets, toiletries, a bathrobe and a hairdryer, plus a desk, a safe and a TV. The building lists a 24 hour front desk, 24 hour security, concierge, housekeeping and room service, and there are lifts, family rooms, cots and high chairs. Where the list is thin is food and drink. Bars are listed but no restaurant, and breakfast is not among the facilities, so the kitchen is the point rather than the backup.
What that adds up to for a stay at Downtown Studio Panoramic Views is a self contained base in the middle of Downtown. The kitchen and laundry make it work for a longer trip or for a family, and the balcony, terrace and patio give you somewhere to sit that is not the bed. The trade off is that apartments bring neighbours, lift traffic and street noise, and the listing points to a smoking area, not a garden or a pool. Choose it if you want space and a stove and you are comfortable looking after yourself. Choose somewhere else if you want a quiet room, a restaurant downstairs or a doorman who knows your name.

Where it puts you
You are staying Downtown, inside the loop, where the train at Five Points puts every line in the city within reach. That is the point of the location: you can move around Atlanta without a car, and the rest of the trip is built on that. The site's own line on the neighbourhood is blunt about the trade: the cheapest walk to a train in the city, with convention traffic setting the price, so a Tuesday in January is a different hotel than a Tuesday in October.
The BeltLine trail is also here, and the 0.8 mi to trail is the figure to keep in mind if you plan to walk or run it. This suits anyone whose trip runs on transit and convention schedules. It does not suit a holiday built around quiet streets and long, slow mornings.

Availability here moves with the long stay market, so check dates before you build a trip around it. Most rooms here can be cancelled free, and you book them through app.impt.io.
