The listed facilities cover a kitchen with a dishwasher, oven and refrigerator, a bathroom with a bath, a WC and toiletries, air conditioning, free wifi and a TV. There is a garden and a patio, free car parking, an iron and board, cleaning, non smoking rooms, a smoke detector, and pets are allowed. What the list does not show is a reception, a restaurant or any staffed service, and only one photo is on file.
For a stay of several days, Grant Grandeur works as a base rather than a hotel: you cook, you wash, you park, and you come and go on your own schedule. These hotels sit in Grant Park, on the southeast side of the city, and the neighbourhood is the reason to pick them. The zoo, the Cyclorama and the best Sunday farmers market in the city are here. Families end up here and stay put. The BeltLine is close at hand, with the trail 0.6 mi to trail, so you can walk or ride the loop rather than drive it.
For getting around, King Memorial, 20 min puts you on rail without needing a car for every trip. Come here if you want a residential pocket with real draws and a trail on the doorstep. Look elsewhere if you want downtown at street level or a quick weekend of bar hopping, because this is a slower, family-shaped part of town.
