What you get

You get a kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, refrigerator and toaster, plus a washing machine. There is air conditioning, a balcony, a bath and a separate bathroom, a TV, free wifi and internet access. The building has lifts and luggage storage, and the property lists a hairdryer, an iron and board, coffee, toiletries, high chairs, a smoke detector and first aid. Where the list is thin: no restaurant, no bar, no breakfast room, no parking and no gym.
What that adds up to is a self contained flat in the middle of Downtown. You cook, you wash clothes, you sit on the balcony. It is a four star listing, but the comfort comes from the space and the appliances rather than from service. Luxury on a Budget Centrally Located Gem suits a family or a couple staying several days, or a business traveller who would rather have a kitchen than a minibar. It does not suit a short holiday where you want someone else to cook and clean, and it does not suit anyone who needs a concierge at odd hours.

Where it puts you
You are staying Downtown, inside the loop, where the train at Five Points puts every line in the city within reach. That is the point of the location: you can move around Atlanta without a car, and the rest of the trip is built on that. The site's own line on the neighbourhood is blunt about the trade: the cheapest walk to a train in the city, with convention traffic setting the price, so a Tuesday in January is a different hotel than a Tuesday in October.
The BeltLine trail is also here, and the 0.8 mi to trail is the figure to keep in mind if you plan to walk or run it. This suits anyone whose trip runs on transit and convention schedules. It does not suit a holiday built around quiet streets and long, slow mornings.

Book this one only if you want an apartment rather than a hotel, because the whole case for it rests on the kitchen, the washing machine and the balcony.
