What you get
Maison La Vigne lists air conditioning, a bathroom and a shower in every room, breakfast, free internet in the lounge, a business center, a conference room, a fitness center, laundry service and dry cleaning. Outside there is a garden, a terrace and a picnic area. The hotel is non-smoking, pets are allowed, and credit cards are accepted. That is the full list. There is no pool, no restaurant, no airport shuttle, no parking detail and no room service. For a 3 star property the facilities cover the basics and a little more, but the list is thin where you would notice: nowhere to eat beyond breakfast, and nothing for a long stay except the laundry.
Put together, Maison La Vigne is a small, functional 3 star hotel in Hapeville, close to the airport side of College Park and 3.7 km from the centre of College Park. It suits you if you are passing through, need a bed, a shower and breakfast, and want a garden or terrace to sit in rather than a lobby bar. It does not suit you if you want a holiday base with a pool, a restaurant on site, or a full-service hotel. Pets are allowed, which is rarer than it should be at this level. Business travellers get a business center and a conference room. Leisure travellers get the picnic area and little else.

These hotels sit in College Park, on the airport side of town, and the rail connection is the reason to be here. Airport, Red/Gold is the line you want: it puts you on the same system that runs through the centre, so you can reach Five Points without a car, and the site's own verdict on the area is blunt enough to quote: the cheapest bed in metro Atlanta and sixteen minutes by train to Five Points. Right for an early flight, wrong for a holiday.
The BeltLine side is different. College Park is off the loop, which means the trail is not on your doorstep and this is not a neighbourhood you pick for walking the city. What is walkable here is ordinary: you stay close to the station, you eat nearby, you sleep. Book it if you have a plane to catch or you want the lowest bed cost in the metro. Do not book it if you came to Atlanta for the BeltLine.
Booking it
Book Maison La Vigne directly if you want the garden or the pet policy confirmed before you commit, because the rest of the list is standard.
