There is air conditioning, free wifi, a desk, a TV, a fireplace, a patio and a garden. Bedrooms are non smoking. Parking is free and on site. Pets are allowed. A fitness center is listed. The list is thin on anything a hotel normally supplies as a service: no restaurant, no bar, no daily housekeeping beyond cleaning, no reception. Safety kit runs to a smoke detector and first aid.
What that adds up to is a house rather than a hotel. Norwegian Wood gives you a kitchen, a washing machine and a garden, and expects you to use them. The trail at the door and the 15 min walk to Inman Park both matter more here than a lobby, because getting around is the point of the location. Cabbagetown's centre is 0.4 km from the centre of Cabbagetown and the house sits just outside it, which is quiet rather than convenient. Book Norwegian Wood if you are a group, a family or in town for more than a couple of days and want to cook, park and keep a dog with you. Look elsewhere if you want staff on hand, a room serviced daily or a bed for one night before an early flight.

Where it puts you
Cabbagetown is on the southeast side of the city, a pocket of mill cottages painted every colour, the Krog Street tunnel at one end and Carroll Street at the other. The site notes the stock is small, so book early. If you are staying here, you are on the BeltLine at mile 3.7, and the trail is at the door, which means you step out and start walking rather than finding your way to a trailhead. Inman Park is a 15 min walk for rail connections.
This suits you if you want a small, walkable neighbourhood with the trail and the tunnel as your anchors, and if you like the idea of a place where the housing stock is tight and the streets are short. It does not suit you if you want a hotel district with a lobby bar and a taxi rank, or if you would rather not walk to reach the train.
