The list is thin on the ground floor: no pool, no garden, no spa, and the accessible and pet provisions are noted rather than detailed.
What that adds up to is a hotel built around a working stay rather than a holiday. Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel is large enough to have the services you need when your day is scheduled, and formal enough that it does not pretend to be a retreat. You get a bed, a desk, a shower, a restaurant and a bar under one roof, plus a garage if you drive. You do not get grounds, a pool or a sense of escape. Book it if you are in Midtown for meetings, a conference or a night before an early start. Leave it if you want quiet, character or somewhere to spend a long weekend indoors.

Where it puts you
Midtown is the default answer for staying in Atlanta, and usually the right one. Two rail stations put the whole city within reach without a car: the Midtown, Red/Gold stop is the one you will use most, though the neighbourhood is served by more than one. The park, the High, and the trail four blocks east are all part of the package. The trail label reads 0.4 mi to trail, and the BeltLine mile is 17.6, so you are on the east side of the loop rather than at its ends.
This suits you if you want to leave the car parked and walk to what you came for, and if you would rather be in the middle of things than in a quiet residential pocket. It does not suit you if you want a quiet street, free parking, or a base for the airport side of town. The trade is convenience for calm.
