What you get
The Reinhardt Jewel is a four star property on Reinhardt Street Southeast in Cabbagetown. The facilities list is long and heavily domestic: a kitchen with oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster and coffee, plus a washing machine, an iron and board, a hairdryer and towels. There is air conditioning, free wifi, a TV, a desk and non smoking rooms. Parking is free and on site, pets are allowed, and there are smoke detectors and first aid on hand. Where it is thin is services: what is listed is what is there, and nothing in the list suggests anyone on site to carry bags, run a desk or clean on request.
What that adds up to is a self contained base rather than a serviced stay. You get a working kitchen and laundry, so you can eat in and travel light, which suits longer stays and families more than a weekend that is meant to be handed to someone else. The Reinhardt Jewel suits people with a car, people travelling with a dog, and people who would rather have a whole place than a room. It does not suit anyone who wants daily cleaning, a reception to ask questions at, or a central location with everything on foot.

Where it puts you
Cabbagetown is on the southeast side of the city, a pocket of mill cottages painted every colour, the Krog Street tunnel at one end and Carroll Street at the other. The site notes the stock is small, so book early. If you are staying here, you are on the BeltLine at mile 3.7, and the trail is at the door, which means you step out and start walking rather than finding your way to a trailhead. Inman Park is a 15 min walk for rail connections.
This suits you if you want a small, walkable neighbourhood with the trail and the tunnel as your anchors, and if you like the idea of a place where the housing stock is tight and the streets are short. It does not suit you if you want a hotel district with a lobby bar and a taxi rank, or if you would rather not walk to reach the train.
