What you get
Grant Park Estate lists a full set of rooms, not a single hotel room. You get air conditioning, a bath and a separate bathroom, a shower and a WC. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, oven, refrigerator and toaster. Coffee is provided, and there is a washing machine, an iron and board, and a hairdryer. The living space adds a fireplace, a sofa bed, a desk and a TV. Outside there is a garden, a terrace and an outdoor pool. Free wifi, free car parking and a safe are on the list.
Grant Park Estate is a four star property, but the list is thin on the things a hotel normally supplies. There is no restaurant, no bar, no gym and no reception desk. You get a whole house to yourself, which is the point. It suits a family or a group who want to cook, wash clothes and swim without leaving the address, and it suits anyone driving, since parking is free. It does not suit a solo traveller who wants staff on hand, daily housekeeping on demand, or a lobby to sit in. Grant Park Estate is a self contained base, not a serviced stay.

Where it puts you
These hotels sit in Grant Park, on the southeast side of the city, and the neighbourhood is the reason to pick them. The zoo, the Cyclorama and the best Sunday farmers market in the city are here. Families end up here and stay put. The BeltLine is close at hand, with the trail 0.6 mi to trail, so you can walk or ride the loop rather than drive it.
For getting around, King Memorial, 20 min puts you on rail without needing a car for every trip. Come here if you want a residential pocket with real draws and a trail on the doorstep. Look elsewhere if you want downtown at street level or a quick weekend of bar hopping, because this is a slower, family-shaped part of town.
Booking it
Book Grant Park Estate directly if you want the whole house and the pool to yourselves, and check the calendar before you plan around it. Most rooms here can be cancelled free, and you book them through app.impt.io. Every confirmed booking removes one tonne of CO2, at no extra cost to you.
