What you get

What the list does not carry is any food service beyond that pool bar, no gym, no workspace, no shuttle, and no reception hours, so you are renting an apartment rather than checking into a staffed hotel.
For the right visitor, Atlanta Buckhead Style is a base rather than a stopover. The kitchen and washing machine mean you can eat in and travel light, the parking means you can keep a car, and the pool and garden mean there is somewhere to sit when you are not out. Home Park puts you 2.2 km from the centre of Home Park, with Midtown, 20 min and 0.8 mi to trail as the two markers the site gives you. It suits longer stays, families, pet owners and anyone driving into the city. It does not suit a one night airport layover or anyone who wants a concierge, room service or a walkable downtown address.

Where it puts you
These hotels sit in Home Park, the pocket of student housing turned budget stock between Georgia Tech and West Midtown. Good rates, walkable to both. You are on the north side of town, and Midtown is the rail connection, 20 min, which puts the whole north south line within reach without a car. The BeltLine is close too, 0.8 mi to trail, so a stay here can be a walking and cycling one rather than a driving one.
It suits anyone who wants a cheap base near the universities and the West Midtown side of the city, and it suits a trip built around the trail and the train. It does not suit a quiet holiday. This is a student neighbourhood, busy and loud in term time, and the stock is basic. Book it for the location and the rate, not for the room.
